It's off to visit my Papa Ronnie again! This time Evan had to stay at home to work, but I went with my brother and his new wife! Caleb and I had such a blast on the drive down! We played trivia games, and Caleb was trying his best to scare me with his tactical driving maneuvers through traffic. While trying to give Caleb hints during the trivia game, his best guess at a state was the infamous "Swimtucky".
This was Caleb's first time back to his birth land in several years. The family was so excited to get to see how much he had grown up! While there, we took Beth to see the 'ocean' for the first time (really the Gulf). We went to a conservation area for a short visit. We also got to have dinner with our 'Mississippi parents' Dee and Ed Taylor. We brought home a watermelon someone gave us. We had to make sure it arrived safely with Caleb's driving, so we buckled it in to the seat! We also had to take a slight detour after Google Maps led us down the wrong route because of recent construction.
This trip was such a great bonding experience with Caleb and I. I know because of that, I have nothing but wonderful memories about this trip. I'm hoping to go on more adventures with my brother!
