This was a day of Indiana history for us! We wanted to tour Grouseland, the home of President William Henry Harrison. My 6x great grandfather and his brother were friends with William Henry Harrison, and they would often stay at his home in Vincennes. There was a festival going on while we were there, so there was live music from the porch. We also visited the George Rogers Clark Memorial. We also walked along the river to enjoy the scenery. It was a short trip, but I was glad to be able to tie the local history in with my own family history!
